This summer, fall in love with yourself. Practice Self-Care.
Repeatedly putting the needs of others before our own (especially frontline workers) can lead to a lack of “me time,” which can, in turn, create stress and resentment and prevent us from being our best selves.
#selfcare into one’s daily routine reduces stress, social exhaustion, decreases the chance of mental and physical ailment, increases productivity, and inspires feelings of happiness.
#selfcare is more than a nice bubble bath and a massage. It is finding a physical, emotional, social, professional and financial balance in your life.
Practice selfcare this week everyday with one of the followings:
Sleeping well
Eating healthily and mindfully
Keeping track of your accomplishments
Expressing Gratitude
Gift to your inner child
Creating a safe physical / mental space
Reading a book
Getting active
Unplugging (social media – only after you post your comments here)
Creating something (cooking, drawing) Building a self-care kit
Meditation
Asking for help
Setting boundaries
Spending time with friends & Family
What is self-care to you and how do you practice it?
